Rajean Paul Moone, Ph.D., LNHA
Rajean holds a BA in Psychology from the College of Saint Scholastica (Duluth, MN), a MS degree in Gerontology from Saint Cloud State University (St. Cloud, MN) and a PHD in Social Work from the University of Minnesota (St. Paul, MN). In addition he currently holds a nursing home administrator’s license in Minnesota. At two area agencies on aging and Minnesota’s state unit on aging he provided project and grants management services as well as managed the largest non-government source of aging services funding in the state at Greater Twin Cities United Way. Currently Rajean teaches in two graduate programs, provides consultation on aging and disability services, serves as the Executive Director of the Minnesota Leadership Council on Aging, coordinates the Finish Strong private philanthropy and public funders collaborative, serves as Executive Director of Training to Serve, co-convenes the Gerontological Society of America Rainbow Research Group, serves on the Board of Opportunity Partners, and publishes research in aging and disability services. Rajean has served as a Ronald E. McNair Scholar, Hartford Foundation Doctoral Fellow, and Atlantic Philanthropies Health and Aging Policy / American Political Science Association Congressional Fellow.
Alana is an accomplished professional with over 18 years’ experience in nonprofits, philanthropy and public/community health and holds a BS in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Alana currently provides nonprofit, philanthropy and healthcare consulting with Moone Consulting, Inc. In addition, Alana is a board member of Dream 2 Dreams and active member of both the Women’s Health Leadership Trust and Minnesota Public Health Association. Prior to joining Moone Consulting Inc., Alana spent 9 years with Greater Twin Cities United Way, Minnesota’s largest non-government source of nonprofit funding, as both a Director and Manager overseeing portfolios in: Access to Health Care, Healthy Behaviors and Independence (Older Adults and Persons w/Disabilities). Before working at United Way, Alana spent 10+ years working in the nonprofit and federal & local government sectors where she led public/community health strategy, program development, program management and day-to-day direct service operations at: NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center (Federally Qualified Health Center), Hennepin County, University of Minnesota and the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C.
